NIH Human Embryonic Stem Cell Registry

Friday January 29, 2010 NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins approved the recommendation of the Director’s Advisory Committee to approve WiCell’s H1 embryonic stem cell line for inclusion in the NIH Human Embryonic Stem Cell Registry. This is the first line from the Bush-era approved for federal funding under the new NIH Guidelines. Forty-three lines are now listed.
